The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services for the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed about the superior number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your significant amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office dedicated to service the area regularly. The assistance point made for intervention experiences a large inflow of read more possible beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to allow the servicing of all consumers read more and increase use of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
